Log line: Nikki, an inspiring poet, day dreams about issues in the black community usually always at the wrong time, until she finds herself in a real issue.

Synopsis:Nikki, an inspiring poet, constantly day dreams to escape reality. She is married to Darrel, a corporate worker who wants to be a father more than anything. Darrel finds Nikki’s dream of being a poet hilarious and frustrating at the same time.

Nikki’s daydreams happen at the most awkward times, usually when she’s around friends, or at work. She does not realize how much she is out of touch with reality she is until she finds herself in a real situation that she could only dream about. Chronicles of Black Pain is a story about Love, relationships, and black political issues told through poetry, dance, art and music. The film takes you on a journey to different lands, time periods and situations.
